Van Dal is Norwich Footwear's primary in-house brand. Its origins can be traced back to 1946 when Norwich Footwear decided to specialise in wider fitting shoes. Van Dal was born.

Many people assume the name must have a Dutch origin - but the truth is the evolution of the name is shrouded in mystery!

Designed and developed in Norwich, Van Dal only use soft, premium materials, from leather uppers to new eco-friendly technical fabrics made from bamboo.

Fashions have come and gone over the years and Van Dal has always remained stylish, whilst maintaining a level of comfort rarely achieved by other shoes.
